About the role

  • IT System Administrator managing customer support and system administration tasks in a hybrid environment at Mightycare Solutions in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Customer support: Primary point of contact for customers via phone, email and remote access.
  • Independent handling, processing and documentation of service requests and incidents.
  • Technical support and system monitoring: Analyze, prioritize and permanently resolve incidents in the areas of virtualization, Windows and Linux server services.
  • Administration of server hardware, storage systems, operating systems and networks.
  • Proactive monitoring of customer systems and regular health checks.
  • Identification of root causes and initiation of improvement measures.
  • Planning, execution and control of managed services within agreed SLAs.
  • Participation in change management and consistent documentation of all activities.
  • Preparation of service reports and support in Continual Service Improvement (CSI).
  • Close collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure stable, secure and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Motivation and willingness to learn: You are curious, enjoy developing yourself and want to continuously expand your knowledge in a modern IT environment.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor when dealing with customers and colleagues is a matter of course for you.
  • You enjoy working in a team but can also take on tasks independently.
  • Proficient in working with Windows (client/server) and Linux systems.
  • Familiar with terms such as DNS and DHCP, and you have a solid basic understanding of networking that you can further develop in practice with us.
  • Good practical experience with VMware technologies (Broadcom / Omnissa) as well as knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Interest in IT security topics and the ability to actively apply and continuously deepen this knowledge in day-to-day work.
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and trends, especially in cloud and security, combined with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
