About the role

  • IT System Administrator working in a hybrid model handling customer IT needs at Mightycare Solutions. Responsible for system monitoring, technical support, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Customer support: Central point of contact for customers via phone, email and remote access.
  • Independent acceptance, processing and documentation of service requests and incidents.
  • Technical support and system monitoring: Analysis, prioritization and durable resolution of incidents in the areas of virtualization, Windows and Linux server services.
  • Administration of server hardware, storage systems, operating systems and networks.
  • Proactive monitoring of customer systems and regular health checks.
  • Identification of root causes and derivation of improvement measures.
  • Managed Services: Planning, execution and control of managed services within agreed SLAs.
  • Participation in change management and consistent documentation of all processes.
  • Preparation of service reports and support for Continual Service Improvement (CSI).
  • Close collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure stable, secure and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Professional foundation: Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification.
  • Career changers with relevant practical experience are also welcome.
  • Motivation and willingness to learn: You are curious, enjoy developing your skills and want to continuously expand your knowledge in a modern IT environment.
  • Service orientation: Professional and friendly conduct when dealing with customers and colleagues is a matter of course for you.
  • Communication skills and teamwork: You enjoy working in a team but can also take on tasks independently.
  • Technical basics: Proficient with Windows (client/server) and Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as DNS and DHCP, and a solid basic understanding of networking that you can expand with practical experience.
  • Virtualization & Cloud: Good hands-on experience with VMware technologies (Broadcom / Omnissa) and knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Interest in IT security: You are interested in IT security topics and apply this knowledge in daily operations or deepen it continuously.
  • Technology affinity: Enthusiasm for new technologies and trends, especially in cloud and security, combined with a willingness to pursue continuous training.
  • Language skills: Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
