About the role
- Finance Analyst providing accurate financial reporting for grant-funded projects at MHRA. Supporting financial management and compliance in a high-profile public sector environment.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports for grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and internal standards.
- Support month-end processes, including preparation of journals, accruals and project-related financial adjustments.
- Provide financial information and analysis to project managers and budget holders, supporting effective budget monitoring and decision-making.
- Maintain and manage project financial data within Oracle Fusion (or equivalent), including project setup, invoicing and closure processes.
Requirements
- Experience of financial reporting, budget monitoring or project finance activities.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to provide financial information and resolve queries effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Working towards (or holding) a professional accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
- Experience of using finance systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion) and understanding of core accounting processes.
