About the role
- MuleSoft Business Architect / Project Manager guiding API integration strategies for the Department of the Treasury at Metric5. Managing legacy system modernization and ensuring alignment with Federal goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of the Department of the Treasury's Enterprise API Integration Platform
- Ensure that technical solutions align with Treasury's modernization goals
- Manage the project lifecycle to ensure seamless modernization of legacy PeopleSoft HCM systems
- Establish and enforce API standards, security policies, and best practices
- Translate functional HR requirements into a scalable API architecture
- Manage the overall project scope, schedule, and resources for timely API implementation
- Act as the primary liaison between technical developers and non-technical HR stakeholders
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage the program backlog
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in IT Project Management, Business Architecture, or Middleware Strategy
- Deep understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform capabilities
- Proven experience managing IT integration projects in a Federal environment (PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification preferred)
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 business processes (Workforce Administration, Payroll)
- Experience supporting architectures in AWS GovCloud or hybrid cloud environments.
