About the role
- Leading the design team for innovative exhibition concepts at MB Capital Services in Berlin. Managing key accounts and overseeing project execution from design to realization.
Responsibilities
- Support and represent the department head in professional, organizational and strategic matters
- Provide fachliche leadership, coordination and further development of the design team responsible for bespoke exhibition stand concepts
- Conceptualize, design and further develop sophisticated, brand-oriented exhibition stands
- Play an active role in servicing key account clients and acquiring new customers
- Take responsibility for design, planning and implementation processes from the initial idea through to realization
- Ensure design quality, schedules, budgets and technical requirements are met
- Work closely with external partners and service providers
- Advise and support international clients, including on-site at European and non-European trade fair venues
- Monitor design trends, materials and technical innovations in the trade fair and event sector
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
- Several years of professional experience in international exhibition construction, preferably including projects outside Europe
- Experience in concept development/design and execution of brand presentations
- Excellent knowledge in the conception and planning of custom design exhibition stands
- Language skills: German — fluent; English — fluent; at least one additional foreign language, spoken and written
- Confident use of common planning and design software (e.g. SketchUp, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
- High intercultural competence and willingness to travel
- Sales experience in the same or a comparable environment
- Initial leadership experience
