Responsibilities

• You carry out feasibility studies and experimental setups in our laboratory for the design and testing of camera systems
• You independently develop applications in the field of industrial image processing on PC-based and smart camera systems to solve optical inspection and identification tasks
• You manage application projects professionally and on schedule, including installation and commissioning at the customer site
• You prepare project-specific documentation
• You perform service and maintenance of already installed applications/systems
• You occasionally develop simple robot programs for camera and part guidance (preferably after comprehensive prior training)

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training with professional experience (e.g., Mechatronics technician, Electronics technician or IT specialist)
• Further training as a technician in automation or electrical engineering, or a completed technical degree (Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar)
• Ideally, prior experience in industrial image processing (robotics not mandatory)
• Ideally, prior experience in an industrial automation environment
• Enjoy learning new things and a desire for professional development
• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written
• Good English language skills
• Driving license
• Willingness to travel for short assignments within Germany and elsewhere in Europe
