About the role

  • Consultant managing onboarding activities for physician practices at Memorial Hermann. Responsible for implementation, training, and support coordination as a liaison with provider groups.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting on processes related to the onboarding activities of acquired/MSO physician practice arrangements
  • Serving as a primary liaison with prospective provider groups to coordinate the implementation, training, support, and ongoing maintenance of all activities related to the onboarding process
  • Tracking the 30/60/90 days post go-live reporting
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities related to all integrated onboarding activities
  • Travel is required in this position

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree related field or relevant combination of training and experience
  • Five (5) years of practice management experience in an outpatient physician practice setting, with an understanding of physician needs, project management, practice patterns, practice management systems, and workflow
  • 15 years of healthcare industry experience, with at least 10 years in physician practice management (without Degree)
  • Strong understanding of healthcare coding and physician practice regulatory requirements knowledge
  • Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects at the same time and achieve results
  • Significant working knowledge of MS Office- (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and SharePoint
