As a Software Engineer Lead, you will guide technical design and development for PNC's C&IB organization, based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA.
About the role
- Lead IT architect for SAP S4HANA at Medtronic, focusing on AI and digital transformation solutions. Collaborate with teams to drive innovation in healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
- Defines, describes, diagrams and documents the role and interaction of the high-level technological and human components that combine to provide cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs
- Promotes, guides and governs good architectural practice through the application of well-defined, proven technology and human interaction patterns and through architecture mentorship
- Supports the full lifecycle management of the entire IT portfolio including the selection, appropriate usage, enhancement and replacement of information technology applications, infrastructure and services
- Responsible for handling end to end lifecycle of development scope for SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and BTP objects
- Able to translate, design and build development objects by effective collaboration with functional leads and architects
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards related to SAP ABAP application management and integration
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices
- Lead AI enablement programs, including pilots, proof of concepts, S4 migration and scaled rollouts
- Collaborate with compliance, security and legal teams to uphold AI governance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- Strongly Preferred: Previous Medtronic experience
- Experience in AI/ML, digital transformation, product management and business process optimization
- Strong understanding of generative AI, LLMs, automation and data driven workflows
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks(data privacy, AI ethics, security)
- Strong experience in independently handling end to end lifecycle of development objects in Greenfield & Brownfield SAP S/4HANA Implementation projects
- Knowledge of handling custom code utilization
- Good understanding of SAP SD/MM/FI/CO modules
- Knowledge of SAP UI5 Framework, Fiori, Fiori Elements and Fiori Dashboards
- Development experience in BTP architecture and its services
- Understanding of SAP and Non-SAP integrations
- SAP Certifications in ABAP and related technologies
