Responsibilities
Manage equipment setup, procurement, installation, and maintenance for core hospital departments (CathLabs, ORs, ICUs, CCUs, etc.) within IHS Turn-Key projects
Collaborate with architects, Medtronic teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver state-of-the-art hospital departments and ensure ongoing high-quality clinical care
Support business development when required
Plan, manage, and oversee equipment projects from assessment to ongoing maintenance
Ensure quality, timelines, and budget adherence
Work with commercial teams, hospital stakeholders, and vendors to optimize equipment planning
Conduct audits, develop equipment strategies, maintenance plans, and service level agreements
Manage supplier selection, procurement, installation, testing, and training
Oversee preventive/corrective maintenance, asset management, and service performance reporting across EMEA
Support end-of-life management, re-marketing, or disposal of equipment
Maintain high standards of professionalism, client service, and project execution
Requirements
Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent; professional board registration desirable
5+ years in hospital equipment planning, procurement, installation, and maintenance; CathLabs/OR experience required
Experience in turnkey hospital projects, capital equipment assessment, and lifecycle management
Project management experience with budget, scope, schedule, and resource oversight
Strong project, client, and vendor management skills
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; multicultural sensitivity
Software: MS Office, MS Project
Business level German and English language skills
Fluency in any other European language or in Arabic is a plus.
