About the role
- Database Administrator for MedSênior managing integrity and availability of relational and NoSQL databases. Collaborating with development teams and supporting architectural evolution.
Responsibilities
- Administer relational and/or NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability;
- Continuously monitor database performance;
- Implement, maintain, and test backup, restore, and recovery policies;
- Participate in capacity planning and environment scaling, anticipating future infrastructure needs;
- Provide technical support to development and infrastructure teams;
- Actively participate in the resolution of critical incidents;
- Support the definition and evolution of the company's database architecture;
- Serve as the focal point and technical reference for databases across the organization;
- Document environments, operational procedures, standards, and best practices related to databases;
- Promote continuous improvement of processes, tools, and standards related to database management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields;
- Experience with networking;
- Microsoft, Linux, or VMware certifications are desirable;
- Knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.);
- Clear communication with different teams.
