Design and produce packaging and marketing materials for Medline’s brand. Manage projects from concept to production while collaborating with copywriters and product managers.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design and produce packaging, collateral, advertising and other print materials to promote the Medline brand, products, services and programs.
Create, develop and produce one-off marketing pieces and fully integrated campaigns including: advertising, collateral, manuals, editorial content, sales and presentation materials, etc.
Provide art direction for illustrations and photography.
Manage projects from the conceptual stage through final production, including ability to prepare final art and work with print vendors for delivery of materials.
Work within tight time frames and within tight budgets; ensuring delivery is met and project is completed within budget.
Work closely with copywriters and product managers in the creative development of persuasive marketing materials.
Visually translate medical and technical information into a relevant and persuasive sales collateral piece.
Provide compelling pitch of work to product divisions to explain the design decisions and relate how these decisions meet the business need of the requester.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or technical degree in Art/Design
At least 3 years design experience within an advertising agency, in-house marketing department or medical related field designing collateral, advertising, sales and promotional materials.
Intermediate skill level in Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and QuarkXpress.
Mac platform experience preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate, sell and brand through successful design.
Knowledge and understanding of print production.
Ability to communicate to all levels of the company.
