Responsibilities
- Manage, determine and communicate SKU level forecasting for Inventory Management.
- Lead demand planning related projects and analytics.
- Mentor and train the Demand Planning team.
- Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast.
- Collaborate with various departments to adjust and calibrate demand forecasts.
- Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify operational efficiencies.
- Lead the process of creating and modifying a demand plan.
- Ensure the demand forecast is shared in the required format.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in operations and/or supply chain.
- Experience with modeling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools.
- APICS certification (preferred).
- Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions.
- Experience forecasting in sales, marketing operations, finance, and manufacturing.
- Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities, and critical deadlines.*
