About the role

  • Buchhalter/in supporting financial accounting and bookkeeping at medic assist GmbH in Bochum. Engaged in monthly and annual financial statements, requiring accuracy and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Handling day-to-day accounting
  • Coding, checking and posting incoming invoices
  • Processing electronic bank statements
  • Processing travel expenses and credit card statements
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Managing recurring entries and accruals/deferrals
  • General account reconciliation
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training as an accountant or tax clerk
  • Experience in financial accounting / accounting
  • Independent, proactive and detail-oriented working style
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially EXCEL
  • Knowledge of modern ERP systems, preferably SAP B1
  • Good German and English skills
