Part-time accounting role managing financial bookkeeping and optional payroll at scanmetrix, a PropTech startup. Responsible for ongoing financial tasks and supporting internal processes.
Responsibilities
Ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
Review, coding and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
Bank and cash postings as well as account reconciliations
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Preparation of documentation for the tax advisor
Travel and expense claim processing
Maintenance and further development of internal accounting processes
Optional – Payroll: preparation and execution of monthly payroll
Maintenance of employee master data
Communication with health insurance providers, authorities and the tax advisor
Support with payroll-related HR and billing queries
Requirements
Completed commercial/vocational training, further training in accounting, or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in financial accounting
Confident use of DATEV (FiBu, Mittelstand Faktura)
Structured, independent and reliable way of working
Discretion and a sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
Good German language skills, both written and spoken
Nice to have: experience in payroll accounting
Nice to have: experience with digital, paperless accounting processes
Nice to have: experience in start-ups, SMEs or fast-growing companies
