About the role

  • Finance Assistant for Davies UK & Ireland supporting Counsel & Expert team with administrative tasks. This role involves processing expert fees and maintaining financial accuracy in a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and posting Expert Fees to the ledger, ensuring they have not already been recorded and that all invoice details correspond with the relevant file.
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure fees are allocated to the correct file.
  • Managing the shared mailbox and responding to expert queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organising and filtering emails within the shared mailbox into the appropriate categorised subfolders.
  • Adding new experts to the system, ensuring all details are accurate and verifying bank information.
  • Assisting with payment runs on a rota basis.
  • Assisting with Court fees as and when required.
  • Working within a 48-hour turnaround timeframe to meet operational requirements.
  • Managing high volumes of work while maintaining accuracy.
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail at all times.
  • Maintaining a focus on quality over quantity in all tasks.
  • Processing refunds and completing bill reversal forms as required.
  • Preparing and issuing monthly statements to Experts.
