About the role
- Risk & Configuration Management Specialist supporting critical capabilities for U.S. Space Force. Ensuring effective risk management and integration across space systems projects.
Responsibilities
- Support all BNN projects with consolidated risks and metrics tracking in SEV
- Work with the BNN Risk and Configuration Management team
- Work with SPM to understand risks and dependencies for capability delivery
Requirements
- US Citizenship Required
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience performing the risk management process on space-related (space, ground, software, hardware system) Major Defense Acquisition Programs
- Experience with supporting overall engineering integration of Systems Engineering and Integration efforts for the DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs
- Knowledge of IAW AFI 63‐101/20‐101 and AF PAM 63‐128
- Ability to develop, document, execute and update program Risk and Issue Management Plans, process, and products
- Ability to identify, analyze, and propose program risks, issues, and handling plans
- Ability to facilitate, manage and participate in the Government Risk Management Boards, to include preparation, distribution and presentation of agendas, briefings, reports, meeting minutes and action items
