About the role

• Paralegal supporting operations in capital markets, debt financing, and investment funds for a law firm in São Paulo. Assist team with document verification and financial validation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Backup: Verification and validation of the information presented by the Company in offering documents (typically the Reference Form, Marketing Material and Prospectus). The backup is performed directly in the document provided by the Company; the most important information is recorded and entered into an Excel spreadsheet.
• Circle-Up: Verification and validation of the financial information (numbers only) presented by the Company in offering documents (typically the Reference Form, Marketing Material and Prospectus). The circle-up is performed directly in the document provided by the Company; after recording the financial data, the document is sent directly to the auditors.
• Legal Opinion Annex: Listing prepared in a Word document formatted as a spreadsheet, divided by document types (Corporate, Financial Contracts, Environmental, Certificates, etc.).
• CFO Certificate: The CFO Certificate is a personal statement from the Company declaring that financial information that did not receive auditor assurance is accurate.
• Input in the Enet System: Upload documents and information from the Reference Form into the CVM - B3 system (https://www.rad.cvm.gov.br). Each section of the Reference Form is registered in the system as either systemic (enter each section's information in the "systemic" fields) or non-systemic (upload as PDF).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law;
• Interest in working on Capital Markets transactions, Financing and Investment Funds (experience in these areas is a plus);
• Advanced English is a plus.
