About the role
- Director Reinsurance Oversight managing and monitoring reinsurance initiatives across the enterprise. Ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory frameworks while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor reinsurance initiatives on an enterprise-wide basis
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks
- Drive tracking and clear status reporting of reinsurance initiatives
- Review and approve reinsurance treaties and amendments
- Collaborate with Global Risk teams to assess potential risks
- Prepare and present materials for Reinsurance Risk Oversight Committee
- Facilitate early engagement with internal stakeholders and external reinsurers
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an actuarial, accounting, or finance role
- Ability to perform complex financial analysis with little direction or guidance
- High energy and drive, results oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination and executive reporting
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Excel, and enterprise risk systems
