About the role
- Lead Engineer in Elektrotechnik for innovative energy infrastructure projects in Germany. Overseeing planning, execution, and compliance for Battery Storage Systems.
Responsibilities
- You coordinate specialist and project planners as well as external engineering firms in the field of electrical engineering
- You review technical designs, drawings and calculations for battery storage systems (100 MW+) and approve them
- You oversee construction and commissioning on site, analyze root causes of faults and initiate optimizations
- You monitor project progress, quality and costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules
- You work closely with internal teams, authorities, grid operators and independent experts/assessors
- You ensure that technical standards, norms and regulatory requirements are consistently met
Requirements
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience in planning and implementing projects in energy infrastructure, battery storage or plant engineering
- You have solid knowledge of contract and change order management (VOB/B, HOAI)
- You are highly familiar with grid connection processes and relevant standards (e.g., VDE-AR-N 4110/4120/4130)
- You are flexible, willing to travel and enjoy working on dynamic projects
- You communicate confidently in German and English.
