Responsibilities
Provide finance business partner support to the Manchester BAU capital delivery teams
Provide decision making support through first class financial information reporting, analysis and insight
Lead the preparation and production of annual capex budgets and regular reforecasts
Present updates to senior stakeholders ensuring alignment between capex delivery plan and wider P&L strategy
Work closely with Finance & Accounting team to deliver accurate monthly and periodic accounting outputs
Create and present business cases for growth-related capex
Collaborate with capital delivery team to produce detailed project cost reports
Conduct regular financial reviews of BAU capex to ensure forecasts align with plans
Identify, quantify and manage financial risks and opportunities
Act as finance partner to stakeholders across each airport
Requirements
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Extensive experience partnering with senior Finance stakeholders up to Director level
Proven experience in capex environments
Supporting contract negotiations and business case analysis
Considerable expertise in reporting, management accounting, financial analysis and dashboard development
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
Excellent organisational skills and flexibility to manage ad hoc project demands
High IT-literacy with strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and financial modelling skills
SAP knowledge is advantageous
A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is required
