About the role

Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) for subsidiaries of the maincubes Group (individual financial statements)
- Preparation of VAT pre‑filings and support with tax returns
- Account reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger, including reconciliation of intercompany and balance sheet accounts as well as main and sub-ledgers
- Coordination with group accounting for the preparation of consolidated group financial statements
- Monitoring and coordination of payment transactions
- Participation in the development and optimization of accounting processes
- Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments
- Support for the ongoing optimization and digitization of financial processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ demonstrable experience in preparing individual financial statements within a group context
- Certified Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or equivalent qualification; higher education (e.g., Master's) is a plus
- Several years of professional experience as a senior/general ledger accountant, ideally in a mid-sized company
- Strong knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Knowledge of tax law is an advantage
- Confident use of accounting software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and MS Office, especially Excel
- Structured, independent and reliable working style
- Strong numerical understanding and analytical thinking
- Team player with excellent communication skills
