About the role
- QA & Automation Engineer responsible for testing cloud services and IoT products. Collaborating with QA and engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and/or Node.js.
- Contribute to test plans covering cloud services, APIs, and hardware integrations.
- Participate in system, integration, regression, and release testing.
- Investigate, document, and reproduce defects to support efficient resolution by engineering teams.
- Assist in test environment setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with developers and QA leadership to continuously improve test coverage and quality practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) or equivalent experience
- Experience with manual and automated software testing
- Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for test automation
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
