About the role

  • Logistics Manager overseeing supply chain operations for LyondellBasell. Responsible for managing logistics personnel, operations, and stock levels in Vadodara, India.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate transfer to warehousing & sharing plan for transfer of RM from warehouse, dispatch to customers, production planning and raw material procurement.
  • Manage logistics personnel and logistics systems and direct daily operations.
  • Drive culture of team work and cross functional collaboration in Logistics function.
  • Manage daily Logistics operations in safe manner.
  • Manage FG stock levels, delivery times and efficient transport utilization.
  • Manage RM stock levels as per 40 days on had target to avoid overstock and stock out of raw materials.
  • Ensure production planning to meet customer requirement timely and avoid over stock.
  • Providing coaching and training to Logistics staff for career development.
  • Drive culture of motivating employees through R&R to deliver results.
  • Analyzing logistical problems and providing solutions.
  • Overall management of FG warehouse, ensure storage of raw materials and FG in identifiable manner, follow FIFO in raw materials and FG.
  • Organize Perpetual stock count.
  • Overall management of transporters, utilizing services well.

Requirements

  • Degree-holder, preferably Master in Supply Chain area
  • More than 10 years relevant work experience in Supply chain management or Logistics
  • Self-driven, good people management skill, should drive results in Logistics managing team members well, should have innovative approach for making improvements.
  • Good negotiation skill
  • Good command of MS Office (excel), experience of SAP
