About the role

  • Senior Manager of IT Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Allegion designing technology solutions for manufacturing growth. Collaborating across teams ensuring operational excellence and cybersecurity compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to propose, design, implement and sustain processes, solutions, and tools to drive the desired outcomes for manufacturing and distribution.
  • Lead and coach team members across multiple strategic business units to drive and achieve IT and business goals.
  • Ensure and drive standard work and process across multiple IT teams supporting the sites.
  • Identify and promote standard work and digital transformation opportunities to enable the end to end processes for business teams to optimize productivity.
  • Contribute to and help drive roadmaps for key business applications based on business needs and IT strategy.
  • Lead and develop plans for business resiliency and continuity for key business systems and processes.
  • Implement and drive cybersecurity measures with the teams and systems at the sites.
  • Ensure SOX compliance and support and improve compliance processes for all in scope business systems.
  • Understand functional business processes and work to get alignment across multiple sites and systems.
  • Drive standardization of new functional designs and application configurations across sites.
  • Drive process, data analysis, data clean-up, conversion and validation where applicable.
  • Develop and assist with detailed unit and integration testing, cut-over planning and execution.
  • Facilitate discussions with key business and IT stakeholders for alignment.
  • Review and approve functional design documents as needed to support your business units.
  • Partner with business and IT teams to complete and test system and process changes as needed.
  • Assist in reviews and drive discussions with Business and Enterprise Architecture groups.
  • Assist with scoping and overseeing / driving large technology implementations such as facility expansions, and systems / ERP upgrades.
  • Partner with teams on business processes to understand opportunities and identify possible improvements through innovation, automation, and AI.
  • Develop near and long term plans to support and drive overall IT teams execution to accelerate integration of new acquisitions within your supported business unit.
  • Contribute on key projects and provide assistance to team members across systems and ERP platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years working with or supporting critical business systems with at least 5 years in a significant technical leadership and people management role.
  • 5+ years of proven experience working within end to end processes for large manufacturing (multi-national) and distribution businesses.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Architect with relevant experience working on support and technology projects within high volume manufacturing and distribution environments.
  • Deep understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Production, Supply Chain, Inventory - D365 F&O preferred), and their integration with other critical business applications (MES, CRM, WMS, etc).
  • Experience managing IT integrations for new acquisitions, including "lift and shift" operations and process harmonization.
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting major system and/or ERP upgrades, sustaining improvements and/or new implementations.
  • Experience transitioning legacy on-premise systems to cloud/SaaS applications.
  • Experience identifying and implementing innovation projects involving Automation, Industrial IoT (IIoT), or AI/Machine Learning.
  • Strong working knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance and IT General Controls.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) as they apply to both IT and OT (Operational Technology) environments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate effectively with others in person and remotely.
  • Experience developing 1–3 year digital roadmaps that balance "keeping the lights on" with transformative innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizations through significant process changes and technology adoptions.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the workforce from executive level to shop floor team members.
  • Ability to lead and communicate orally, in written documents, and in formal presentations is required
  • Team player, change agent, and customer-driven mentality.
  • Works well under pressure and can resolve complex problems.
  • A proven "coach" mentality with experience building high-performing and highly engaged teams, managing remote employees, and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
