About the role
- Front-End Software Developer developing web applications for fintech company LYNX in Gent. Collaborating on and optimizing web applications for a superior trading experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and improve our web applications, giving customers the best trading experience
- Co-create with our UX designers to meet and exceed user expectations, contribute design ideas
- Continuously refine the user experience, implement and act on feedback to evolve our applications and front-ends
- Develop new user-facing features to make trading an enjoyable experience
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate across teams to realize a company-wide design and work on best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong experience with React / Next.js
- Experience with Redux (Redux Toolkit ) or other state management libraries ( Zustand, Pinia )
- Experience with unit testing ( Jest , Vitest )
- Experience with headless component libraries ( Radix UI ) is a plus
- Experience with Tailwind CSS is a plus
- Experience with design systems ( Material ) is a plus
- Experience with Angular is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional, distributed agile team
- Willingess to collaborate with teams across our branches in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Ghent
