About the role
- Lead Frontend Developer at Ship.cars building AI-driven solutions for the logistics industry. Overseeing coding, mentorship, and project execution in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Hands-on coding, setting high standards for quality & design, driving AI/LLM adoption.
- Team Leadership: Mentor & coach engineers, foster collaboration, act as technical contact for stakeholders.
- Project Management: Translate requirements into user stories, ensure delivery quality, manage risks & dependencies.
- Process & Collaboration: Improve workflows, remove blockers, streamline communication between tech & product.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in web-development and Single Page Applications (SPA)
- 2+ years of experience in a lead or senior role with mentoring responsibilities
- Expert proficiency in Javascript and Typescript
- Strong knowledge of state management libraries (React Query, Redux, etc.)
- Experience with Material UI or equivalent UI Framework
- Solid understanding of 3rd party API integration and advanced security practices
- Experience with Unit Testing frameworks - Jest, Vitest, Testing Library, Cypress, etc.
- Understanding and experience in building and maintaining micro-frontends
- Deep understanding of responsive design concepts and their implementation
- Experience with Claude Code/Cursor/Windsurf or similar tools
