- Platform Engineer joining team to design and maintain internal developer platforms in the insurance sector. Responsibilities include implementing CI/CD pipelines and enhancing developer productivity through automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance internal developer platforms using Backstage and related frameworks
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for efficient deployments
- Integrate container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, Docker) into platform architecture
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable platforms
- Drive automation strategies and adopt SRE principles for service reliability
- Ensure observability and security are embedded in platform design
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in similar roles
- Strong experience with Backstage and platform engineering tools
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform
- Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and modern software delivery pipelines
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response frameworks
- Exposure to cloud-native environments and multi-cloud strategies
- Knowledge of security best practices for platform engineering
- Preferably experience in the Insurance Sector
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
