About the role
- Finance Executive managing financial reporting and compliance for LUXASIA's operations in Malaysia. Collaborating with finance team to drive improvement in accounting practices.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Malaysia finance team and project team to ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year end closing
- Work with other functions to ensure internal control policies and procedures are compliant with Group policies, International Financial Accounting Standards and generally accepted internal control best practices
- Support government related reporting, to ensure timely submission and answer to queries.
- Support finance and retail operations, such as outlet stock take, bank terminal tracking, etc
- Identify improvement areas and improve on accounting best practices
- Support Australia team account receivables, prepare account receivables report and monitor outstanding invoices.
- Any ad hoc task as necessary.
Requirements
- ·Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, VLOOKUP, data analysis skills will be an advantage)
- Proactive and willing to take initiative in daily tasks and learning
- Strong communication skills — able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment
