About the role
- Demand Planner coordinating regional demand plan and S&OP cycle for SK-II at LUXASIA. Collaborating cross-functionally to optimize supply chain efficiency and service levels.
Responsibilities
- Drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
- Develop 12-month rolling demand forecast, incorporating market intelligence (promotions, phase in/phase out, new launches, dis-continuations) from Sales and Marketing teams. Challenge the forecast as needed.
- Translate demand plan into supply plan for order placement to principals.
- Balance demand and supply needs of omni-channels, facilitate product allocation or product rebalancing as and when required.
- Reconcile supply plan to demand plan to mitigate shortfalls and excess stocks situations for new launches, production related shortages or un-forecasted demand spikes.
- Monitor and manage Slow move and Obsolescence stock while driving for action from stakeholders.
- Analyze and highlight business risk and opportunity to stakeholders and jointly propose appropriate mitigation plans.
- Conduct historical sales analysis and data cleansing to build statistical baseline forecast.
- Develop and prepare monthly forecasting files, S&OP and KPI reports.
- Participate and prepare information for demand & supply planning meeting and projects.
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of related working experience in supply chain / procurement industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, SAP experience is an added advantage.
- Have collaborated with regulatory affairs groups to assess pending and new regulations and changes, and have demonstrated the ability to reduce and manage complexity.
- Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Have good command in English communication skills including Speaking and Writing.
