Lead Atlassian Engineer responsible for managing and optimizing Atlassian products. Collaborate across teams to ensure high availability of systems and support development activities.
Responsibilities
Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog Atlassian applications (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Atlassian Analytics, Atlassian Guard).
Develop and implement scalable solutions, custom workflows, automation rules, and integrations.
Design and implement custom workflows, permission schemes, dashboards, and advanced automation rules to streamline operations.
Get involved with establishing the logical design of the IT4IT system with architecture and engineering teams and key stakeholders.
Collaborate across the Technology division with IT operations, development, architecture, service management, and other teams, to maintain highly available and scalable systems.
Collaborate with system administrators and developers to implement new features, workflows, and integrations.
Drive development activities within the area including the development of respective plugins and integrations.
Monitor usage, performance, and user feedback to continuously improve the Atlassian environment.
Support team in responding to high-priority incidents and, if required, lead them to resolution.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience administering and optimizing Atlassian Cloud products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management) in a complex organizational environment.
Proven leadership in Atlassian product strategy, including lifecycle ownership, roadmap planning, and stakeholder alignment.
Proven experience with Jira Assets and Lansweeper integration, along with a solid understanding of integrating other inventory sources to deliver a complete asset management solution.
Working experience in processes automation via Atlassian Automation and REST API (audit logs, workflow, smart values, conditions, etc.).
Experience with migration of Atlassian products DC to Cloud, Cloud to Cloud (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management).
Experience with Asset management, OpsGenie (Operations) functionality in Jira Service Management.
Knowledge of Atlassian Intelligence and AI-powered Rovo features.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies: practical Scrum/Kanban experience.
Strong knowledge of DevOps as well as ITIL and ITSM concepts.
Strong knowledge of JQL.
Good understanding of cloud management and security best practices.
Desire to tackle complex problems.
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication.
