About the role
- Join Luminor as a Data Warehouse Support Specialist, ensuring stability and continuity in Data Warehouse operations for a leading bank in the Baltics.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support the Production Data Warehouse environment on a daily basis to ensure stability and continuity.
- Ensure the successful execution and timely completion of EOD and EOM processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, data loads, and performance bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth operations and incident resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of support and maintenance processes.
- Document and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and support guides.
Requirements
- Relational Database development experience in Oracle, Sybase IQ, or MS SQL Server.
- Experience and understanding of Data Warehouse architecture, ETL principles.
- Very good knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting production workloads under time constraints is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with EOD/EOM business processes and their criticality in the financial environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level.
