About the role

- Full responsibility for managing a supplier portfolio, including negotiating terms and conditions as well as escalation and process management

- Regular inventory monitoring and optimization of ordering processes within the ERP system
- Handling inquiries, preparing quotations and producing quotation comparisons
- Creating systematic analyses and preparing relevant data for operational supplier management
- Automating and improving purchasing processes with a focus on digital integrations
- Acting as a liaison and communication interface between suppliers, logistics, sales, assortment management and purchasing
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship
- Professional experience in purchasing, ideally within a trading/retail company
- Good MS Office skills
- Experience with ERP software
- English language skills are a plus
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Quick learner with a keen grasp of new topics
- Interest in AI topics as they relate to procurement
- Commitment, ability to work independently and team orientation
