About the role

  • Management Accountant leading the finance function of a fast-growing multi-site leisure brand in the UK. Overseeing finances from bookkeeping to high-level financial planning while driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis for each venue, providing commentary on performance and yield.
  • Manage the full bookkeeping cycle in Xero, including bank reconciliations, Hubdoc processing, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning to support our aggressive growth strategy.
  • Manage monthly payroll, VAT returns, and ensure alignment with UK GAAP.
  • Work with the leadership team to analyse court utilisation, staffing models, and CapEx for facility upgrades.

Requirements

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
  • Strong experience in management accounts, Xero, and advanced Excel.
  • You don’t just report numbers; you look for the story behind them to drive growth.
  • You are comfortable taking full ownership in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • An interest in padel or the wider sports industry is a significant plus.
