About the role
- Camicado is looking for a Designer II in São Paulo to lead product development and trends. Responsibilities include market research, product design, and team collaboration for home fashion.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing research on current trends
- Participation in Fashion Workshops
- Preparation of seasonal trend materials
- Assembling the category collection in Miro in alignment with the creative direction of the trend materials
- Modifying and revising existing designs to accommodate changes for each collection
- Designing new products each season
- Selecting products from catalogs and trade show folders
- Preparing technical specification sheets for new developments
- Sending technical sheets to suppliers
- Daily follow-up on emails
- Ongoing follow-up on projects and product selections with suppliers
- Requesting and following up on samples
- Sending approvals or corrections for all samples
- Updating Miro boards
- Presenting category pre-strategies
- Developing packaging for products within your lines
- Inspection analysis of all shipments for your lines
- Entering style-related inputs in product records
- Collaborative work and decision-making with the purchasing team and category managers
- Managing new projects involving analysts and assistants
- Delegating tasks to assistants
- Making strategic decisions together with the purchasing, planning, and visual merchandising teams
Requirements
