About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical data packages for networked systems including JWICS, CNET, CV2, and ISE networks.
- Create detailed system schematics, network diagrams, and technical drawings supporting simulators such as F‑18, E‑2D, F‑35, and Aegis.
- Produce diagrams showing physical and logical system relationships , infrastructure connections, and ancillary building interfaces.
- Use Visio daily to generate, refine, and version‑control technical drawings.
- Work closely with engineers and integration teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect system functionality and design intent.
- Apply logic‑driven drafting practices to ensure diagrams are technically precise and compliant with project requirements.
- Update documentation as systems evolve, ensuring accuracy across all LVC components.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support system integration and configuration management.
- Maintain strict adherence to security protocols when handling classified or sensitive documentation.
Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Visio experience in a drafting, documentation, or design-support role.
- Strong proficiency in technical drafting methodologies , including system diagrams, network schematics, and engineering documentation.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Active SECRET clearance required.
