- Develop and implement a strategic plan for your portfolio to meet growth, profitability and risk objectives.
- Act as primary relationship lead, coordinating across product partners to deliver integrated solutions.
- Originate opportunities and identify income‑generating initiatives that contribute to Group growth.
- Lead credit discussions, negotiate facility terms and collaborate with Credit and Risk teams to structure proposals.
- Prepare and present responses to tenders and pitches, working with specialist teams to enhance win rates.
- Ensure compliance with Bank and regulatory policies, including oversight of legal documentation and credit sanctions.
- Drive continuous improvement by adapting to policy, system and process changes.
- Provide leadership within the team - motivating, developing and supporting colleagues.
Requirements
- Strong Relationship Management experience with large corporate clients in Corporate & Institutional Banking or an equivalent environment.
- Experience managing complex financing transactions (Investment Grade, Leveraged Finance, Infrastructure & Project Finance).
- Solid grounding in credit and risk management.
- Commercial insight and understanding of Consumer sector dynamics, with the ability to build sub‑sector expertise and be a face to market.
- Strong origination skills aligned to Northstar growth ambitions.
- Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships at senior levels.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic approach with experience developing business plans.
- Leadership capability to inspire a collaborative team.
