About the role
- Staff Full Stack Software Engineer developing applications for LiveRamp’s Data Marketplace. Designing and building front and backend components using modern technologies to empower clients with high-quality data.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop frontend services, backend services and RESTful APIs using TypeScript, Python and Ruby.
- Work on frontend components using React.js, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and design principles.
- Develop scalable microservices and ensure system reliability and performance.
- Partner and lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java or Go, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
- Experience with frontend technologies, particularly TypeScript, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency with databases — MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or GitLab) and CI/CD tools.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to Search and retrieval systems
- Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
