About the role
- Software Developer for automation solutions in semiconductor manufacturing overseeing projects across Europe and Asia. Working collaboratively with various stakeholders to develop custom software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support of production sites in Europe and Asia
- Development of tailored software solutions
- Coordination of projects with internal and external software and production service providers
- Independent requirements analysis, design, and implementation of software solutions
- Documentation and long-term maintenance of developed software
- Team-based development of central software libraries
- Conducting code reviews within the team and performing software tests for quality assurance
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, or equivalent IT training with relevant professional experience
- Preferably several years of experience in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Solid practical experience with SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL and Linux/Unix; experience with various operating systems is desirable
- Ability to work into complex technical and domain-related topics and to independently develop concepts and solutions
- Solution-oriented and process-focused thinking, initiative, and an independent working style
- Strong communication skills, team player, and sense of responsibility
- Very good German and good English language skills
