Responsibilities
Support of production sites in Europe and Asia
Development of tailored software solutions
Coordination of projects with internal and external software and production service providers
Independent requirements analysis, design, and implementation of software solutions
Documentation and long-term maintenance of developed software
Team-based development of central software libraries
Conducting code reviews within the team and performing software tests for quality assurance
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, or equivalent IT training with relevant professional experience
Preferably several years of experience in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP)
Solid practical experience with SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL and Linux/Unix; experience with various operating systems is desirable
Ability to work into complex technical and domain-related topics and to independently develop concepts and solutions
Solution-oriented and process-focused thinking, initiative, and an independent working style
Strong communication skills, team player, and sense of responsibility
Very good German and good English language skills
