Responsibilities

• Take lead on cutting-edge California employment law.
• Serve as lead counsel on complex single-plaintiff litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and nuanced reasonable accommodation claims.
• Manage and strategically advise on sensitive PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) cases and supporting high-profile class action litigation as needed.
• Prepare, argue, and respond to critical dispositive and discovery motions, and take/defend depositions of key plaintiffs and corporate witnesses.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on critical federal and state regulations, developing compliant policies and best practices to mitigate legal exposure.
• Maintain and build key client relationships.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the relevant state bar (California Bar membership strongly preferred).
• 9–12 years of substantial, dedicated experience in employment law, encompassing both complex litigation and regulatory counseling.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills, demonstrated by an excellent academic record and a proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
