Responsibilities
Responsible for the product across the entire product lifecycle — from requirements analysis through development to delivery of the finished solution.
Development of automation solutions in the switchgear/control cabinet area for container cranes.
Creating dynamic interfaces to various bus participants using different fieldbus protocols.
Implementing interfaces to connect smart sensor systems or higher-level control/management systems.
Developing system software for the PLCs used, using object-oriented high-level languages.
Developing application-specific software tailored to our custom, customer-focused solutions.
Implementing and verifying software solutions both within an agile team and in independently managed sub-projects.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Very good knowledge of various fieldbus communication systems such as Profinet, TCP/IP, UDP, or Modbus.
Independent working style, strong teamwork skills, and flexibility.
Comfortable working at height on secured platforms (no fear of heights), willingness to travel worldwide, and a valid Class B driving license.
Experience implementing data transfer protocols across various bus systems.
Excellent knowledge of PLC programming according to EN 61131-3, particularly in Structured Text, or proficiency in another high-level language such as C/C++ or similar.
Systematic and analytical approach to fault analysis and execution of system and software tests.
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
