About the role
- Parts Interpreter delivering accurate parts advice and internal support at Liebherr for machinery-related operations. Collaborating with technical teams, ensuring timely process and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, timely parts interpretation to internal teams and external customers, ensuring correct identification and supply of spare parts
- Process parts orders end-to-end, including quotation preparation, order entry, invoicing, dispatch coordination and proactive customer follow-up
- Support service and maintenance operations by identifying parts requirements for scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs, machine rebuilds and component replacements
- Assist with stock control activities, including cycle counts, stocktakes, discrepancy investigations and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Deliver a high standard of customer service through professional communication and timely responses to enquiries
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safety, quality and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience (ideally around 4 years) in a spare part, technical or similar role within machinery‑related industries such as earthmoving, marine, rail or industrial equipment
- Mechanical aptitude with a genuine interest in machinery and how components work together
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately identify and interpret parts information
- Confident using ERP, POS and Microsoft Office systems, with the ability to manage orders and data accurately
- Forklift licence desirable for supporting warehouse and picking activities when required
- Customer‑focused with clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams
