About the role

  • Life Cycle Costing Engineer responsible for evaluating total cost of ownership for mining trucks. Collaborating with engineering teams for informed design and business decisions based on accurate LCC data.

Responsibilities

  • Design, update, and implement life cycle cost (LCC) models for off-highway mining trucks,
  • Evaluate and quantify total cost of ownership (TCO), including capital investment, maintenance labor, parts usage, etc.
  • Partner with engineering design teams to evaluate design alternatives using life cycle cost as a metric.
  • Support engineering design reviews and product development gates by providing life cycle cost performance benchmarks.
  • Analyze field data, warranty data, and service histories to identify major life cycle cost drivers.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field;
  • four years in life cycle costing, reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or cost analysis in a heavy equipment or mining environment;
  • ability to obtain and maintain Local Mine induction and access;
  • ability to obtain and maintain Local Mine HSE certification;
  • ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and driver’s license.
