About the role
- IT Application Engineer overseeing operational hosting of ERP systems with a hybrid work model. Collaborating on system architecture and managing service requests for international clients.
Responsibilities
- Operative operation and hosting of ERP systems (on-premise and cloud), including associated middleware
- Design and further development of the system architecture to ensure efficiency, maintainability, security, and performance
- Coordination and shaping of technical system requirements as part of new services or projects in the ERP environment
- Interface function between operations, demand management, software development, and implementation
- Participation in implementing ITIL-based processes (incident, change, problem management)
- Handling service requests for national and international customers within the corporate group, including ensuring fast and high-quality delivery
- Coordination and execution of installations, upgrades, and patches
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
- Experience in support and technical application management
- Strong knowledge of on-premise infrastructures and cloud architectures, preferably in an ERP environment
- Experience in coordinating and implementing technical requirements and collaborating with various IT teams
- High motivation, self-responsibility, and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and goal-driven approach to managing and executing complex tasks
- Fluent German and English language skills
- ITIL knowledge desirable
