About the role
- Field Application Engineer supporting high-tech products and customer service in industrial measurements at Vaisala. Working independently on technical challenges and collaboration with sales and R&D teams.
Responsibilities
- You will be part of our Field Service team.
- Together with the team, you play a key role in improving the reliability and quality of our high-tech products.
- In this role, you will perform software installation and configuration, validation, calibration, and mapping.
- You will be working in close co-operation with our sales team, R&D professionals, and customers.
- Domestic travelling in Sweden is expected in this role as most of your working time will be spent in customer locations.
- To enable us to better support the wider team, occasional travel within Europe will also be required.
- When not working on customer sites, you will work from your home office.
- In this role, you will report to Field Service Manager, EMEA.
- Installing Vaisala software and hardware

Requirements
- Education background in Engineering, IT or Metrology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role
- Proven experience in customer service
- Proactiveness and self-directed way of working, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage own work independently
- A basic understanding of calibration is a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally within Europe
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Swedish and in English
- Valid Driver’s License
