Hybrid Financial Planning Analyst – Service Controls

About the role
- Financial Analyst providing financial control and reporting for service contracts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape financial processes amidst service business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain service-level financial forecasts (revenue, cost, margin) aligned with contracts and project schedules
- Prepare monthly reporting packages including budget-to-actual variance analysis, KPIs, and cash flow projections
- Support annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes for the service portfolio
- Monitor revenue recognition, accruals, and contract-level profitability in line with GAAP and company policies
- Partner with the Service Administrator on customer and vendor financial transactions (quotes, POs, invoices)
- Review service contracts for billing terms, invoicing schedules, and recognition rules
- Provide financial support to Service leadership for decision-making and customer negotiations
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- CMA strongly preferred, CPA a plus
- 5+ years of relevant financial analysis or project/service control experience
- Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of accounting concepts
- Experience with SAP
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
