About the role
- Scientific Consultant driving innovation and consulting to support R&D projects at Leyton Germany. Facilitating the entire funding process from program identification to successful application.
Responsibilities
- You identify and structure R&D projects with respect to their eligibility for funding
- You advise on suitable programs and tax instruments such as the research allowance (Forschungszulage) and accompany the application from the initial concept through to approval
- You understand our clients' business in detail and actively advance it
- You support our Business Development in client meetings as a technical expert
- You work goal-oriented and consistently keep an eye on your KPIs and the deadlines for funding applications
Requirements
- You have a successfully completed degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or similar)
- You bring at least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in consulting or technical project management
- You are not a theorist but a strong communicator, used to driving projects forward independently and at pace
- Experience with funding applications is an advantage — crucial is your ability to present complex technical and scientific matters precisely and in a structured way
- Fluent German and English
