About the role
- Deputy and Knowledge Manager at Leidos, supporting USAF system resiliency and security in a hybrid cloud environment. Leading knowledge management and technical solutions for digital/web services.
Responsibilities
- Possess deep knowledge and experience of analysis in a range of digital/web services and solutions
- Manages all aspects of Knowledge Management resources, webtools, apps, shared resources and information
- Analyses propositions and assesses decision-making factors such as strategic alignment, cost/benefit, and risk
- Develops technical solutions to complex problems
- Implement and oversee security best practices
- Support system integration, verification, validation, testing, and quality assurance activities
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and external partners or vendors to deliver integrated solutions
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance in support of improved security posture, programs and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT Level II)
- Expert-level experience designing and supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application architectures
- Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud security concepts
- Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Apache NiFi)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
