About the role
- Indirect Procurement Intern at Ledger supporting the procurement team in cost-effective acquisition and margin performance through data analysis and improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze spend and margin data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings and margin performance.
- Generate reports and visualizations to present findings.
- Provide insights and recommendations of improvement initiatives based on data analysis.
- Run improvement initiatives: vendor sourcing, specifications, tendering, negotiation, selection, contract negotiation.
- Monitor and track the implementation of improvement initiatives, report the related savings.
- Monitor procure-to-pay tool, including interfacing with users for daily support (e.g., vendor onboarding, purchase approval).
- Identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Participate in procurement tools implementation (suppliers conformity, purchasing performance reporting).
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in a relevant field (Master 1 or Master 2).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of procurement principles and practices is a plus.
