About the role

  • Career & Pathways Counsellor guiding secondary learners in their journey to higher education. Empowering students to identify pathways for success through personalized coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead a holistic career & university guidance program for secondary aged learners
  • Support learners in identifying strengths, interests, values, and aspirations
  • Guide students through application processes for international universities and systems
  • Find, implement and use platforms for passion and talent identification
  • Act as a learning guide and life coach
  • Support learners in managing stress, deadlines, and transitions
  • Work closely with Learning Guides, leadership and families
  • Serve as a key point of contact for families in the university process
  • Track graduation requirements and provide additional support to ensure learners graduate in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in college counseling, university guidance, secondary education leadership or international student support
  • Strong knowledge of international university systems and admissions processes (especially Europe, UK, US)
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required
  • Spanish and/or Catalan are a strong plus
  • Highly organized, able to manage complex timelines, multiple applications, and detailed documentation
  • You are tech-savvy with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems, and you effectively integrate automation and AI into your workflows.
