About the role

  • Clinical Practitioner delivering mental health support to children and their families in Barnet. Engaging with social care teams to provide assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Join the Barnet Integrated Clinical Services (BICS) Children’s Social Care team
  • Deliver targeted mental health services for children, young people, and families
  • Conduct community-based mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
  • Work with Assessment, Safeguarding, and Children in Care teams
  • Be a part of the family therapy team, acting as lead therapist

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic and energetic clinician
  • Experience in community-based mental health assessments
  • Ability to provide therapeutic interventions to children and young people
  • Strong collaborative skills working with different agencies
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Strong track record of supporting team members in family therapy
